- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup rum
- 1 box of vanilla wafers
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, combine brown sugar and butter until melted. Stir in sliced bananas and toss to coat. Add rum and cook for 2 minutes until caramelized.
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and the warm Banana’s Foster mixture. Gently fold the whipped cream in.
- Layer vanilla wafers in a serving dish, add a layer of custard mixture, followed by caramelized bananas. Repeat until ingredients are finished, ending with custard on top.
- Top with sliced bananas, caramel sauce, and cinnamon. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
