Better-Than-Takeout Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a delectable honey garlic sauce, making it a perfect weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken, cooking until it’s golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, snap peas, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  4. Pour the remaining honey garlic sauce over the stir-fried chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat everything evenly, cooking for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
