Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (for marinade)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the thinly sliced beef in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat, add marinated beef in batches until browned, then set aside.
  3. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet, pour in oyster sauce and beef broth, mixing well and cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
