- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (for marinade)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- ½ cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the thinly sliced beef in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat, add marinated beef in batches until browned, then set aside.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, pour in oyster sauce and beef broth, mixing well and cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Notes
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- This dish can be frozen for meal prep; just reheat thoroughly before serving.
