Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of grated orange zest
- 1 tablespoon of orange juice
- Optional: chopped nuts or powdered sugar for garnish
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest, and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Mix softened cream cheese with orange zest to enhance flavor.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut into small triangles. Spread cream cheese on each triangle, add a spoonful of cranberry filling, then roll into crescent shapes.
- Place crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in oven or air fryer until warm and crispy.
- Freeze baked crescents individually on a baking sheet, then transfer to a zip-top bag for longer storage. Reheat from frozen.
- Optional toppings: sprinkle powdered sugar or chopped nuts before serving for extra festive flair.
