Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of grated orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon of orange juice
  • Optional: chopped nuts or powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest, and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Cool slightly.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese with orange zest to enhance flavor.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut into small triangles. Spread cream cheese on each triangle, add a spoonful of cranberry filling, then roll into crescent shapes.
  4. Place crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in oven or air fryer until warm and crispy.
  • Freeze baked crescents individually on a baking sheet, then transfer to a zip-top bag for longer storage. Reheat from frozen.
  • Optional toppings: sprinkle powdered sugar or chopped nuts before serving for extra festive flair.
