Description

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the ultimate quick and easy 30-minute dinner that combines tender chicken breasts, a rich and creamy garlic sauce, and flavorful Parmesan cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings, this restaurant-quality dish is simple to prepare and full of delicious flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz of your favorite pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and thickened.
  5. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a little pasta water.
  7. Add the cooked pasta into the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  8. Return the sliced chicken to the skillet, mixing well. Warm everything for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use high-quality Parmesan for best flavor.
  • Feel free to add sautéed vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • If you prefer a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or evaporated milk.
