Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sautรฉ chicken until cooked through and golden. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, and cumin. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and simmer. Add heavy cream and cook until sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, coat in the sauce, then add the cooked linguine. Toss everything together to combine and absorb flavors. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs like parsley for garnishing to enhance flavor.
  • Adjust spice levels with more chili powder if you prefer heat.
  • For creamier sauce, add extra heavy cream or cheese.
  • Cook and store leftovers separately; reheat gently to avoid overcooking the chicken.
