Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) of raspberry or cherry flavored Jello for the eyeball’s red center
  • 1 box (3 oz) of lime or green flavored Jello for the sclera (white part)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Mini-marshmallows or peeled grapes for the eyeball’s pupils
  • Plastic eyeball or round candy as a substitute (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves or food-safe coloring for additional effect

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling water and dissolving the raspberry or cherry Jello in it. Pour into small round molds or shot cups to form the red center. Chill until set, about 2-4 hours.
  2. Mix lime or green Jello with boiling water, then add cold water. Pour over the hardened red Jello to create the sclera. Refrigerate until fully set.
  3. Place mini-marshmallows or peeled grapes on top of the Jello to resemble eyeballs. Insert small candies or create pupils with food-safe coloring for realism. Optionally, embed a small plastic eyeball in the middle for extra spookiness.

Notes

  • Use BPA-free plastic molds or cups for safety.
  • Ensure each Jello layer is fully set before adding the next for best results.
  • Decorate with food coloring or edible veins for added realism.
