Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth. Gradually stir in the boiling water.
- Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely before filling with vanilla custard using a pastry bag.
- Pour chocolate ganache over the filled cupcakes allowing it to cascade down the sides.
