Description

The High Protein Crispy Garlic Chicken Fried Rice Bowl is a delicious and nutritious dish that combines savory chicken, fluffy rice, and vibrant vegetables, all tossed in a rich garlic sauce. Perfect for healthy eating without compromising flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by dicing chicken and washing vegetables.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the chicken with salt and pepper until golden, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add mixed vegetables and cooked rice, heating through. Return the chicken to the skillet.
  4. Add soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with green onions and cilantro, serving with lime wedges.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This dish can be made vegetarian by substituting chicken with tofu.
  • Jasmine rice is ideal for fried rice for its texture, but brown rice can also be used for a healthier option.
