Description

Satisfy your cravings with these High Protein Pepperoni Pizza Rolls, a nutritious snack that’s both delicious and easy to make. Packed with flavor and protein, they’re perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 scoop protein powder (your choice of flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet of instant yeast
  • ½ cup warm water
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing together whole wheat flour, protein powder, salt, and instant yeast in a bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil while mixing to form dough. Knead for about 5 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to create a rectangle. Spread pizza sauce over it, leaving a border. Distribute pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  3. Starting from one side, roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 1-inch pieces to create individual rolls.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange rolls on baking tray lined with parchment paper, spray lightly with cooking spray, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze rolls for longer storage; reheat in the oven or microwave as needed.
  • These rolls can be made vegetarian by replacing pepperoni with vegetables.
  • Lower-carb versions can use almond flour or cauliflower crust.
