- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet of instant yeast
- ½ cup warm water
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing together whole wheat flour, protein powder, salt, and instant yeast in a bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil while mixing to form dough. Knead for about 5 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to create a rectangle. Spread pizza sauce over it, leaving a border. Distribute pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Starting from one side, roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 1-inch pieces to create individual rolls.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange rolls on baking tray lined with parchment paper, spray lightly with cooking spray, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
