- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or your choice of toppings)
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Combine flour, instant yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface. Cut into circles and fill each with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
- Fold the dough over the filling, seal edges with a fork, and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the pizza pockets for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Allow leftovers to cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
