Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or your choice of toppings)
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, instant yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  2. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface. Cut into circles and fill each with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling, seal edges with a fork, and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the pizza pockets for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
