Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, honey, and softened butter; mix until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this into the wet mixture, avoiding overmixing.
- If desired, fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips for added flavor and texture.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
