- 1/3 cup plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat)

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add plant-based milk, melted coconut oil or olive oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips, if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a moister bread, use very ripe bananas with brown spots.
- Adjust the amount of maple syrup based on your preferred sweetness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
