Description

Savor the rich and spicy flavors of Korean BBQ Meatballs paired with a zesty mayo dip—a perfect dish for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra spice)
  • For the Spicy Mayo Dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if desired. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Using your hands, take portions of the meat mixture and roll them into small, round meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the meatballs in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan, until browned on all sides and cooked through—about 10-12 minutes.
  4. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, and salt in a small bowl until well combined. Adjust spiciness according to taste.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • For a unique flavor, add ginger or chili flakes to the meat mixture.
  • A touch of honey in the mayo dip can enhance its flavors.
