- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the shrimp to the pot, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the cooked pasta to the pot, along with the broth, lemon juice, and zest. Toss everything together until well combined.
Notes
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the microwave or stovetop, adding broth to loosen the sauce.
