- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce (24 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Blend until creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Lay three lasagna noodles, half of the beef and bacon mixture, half of the ricotta mixture, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat layers ending with noodles and top with sauce and remaining cheeses.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
