Instructions
- Slice the cabbage and chop the onion and garlic. If using sausage links, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat the olive or sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the cooked sausage and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Then, add the sliced cabbage and cook for another 5-8 minutes until it becomes tender yet still slightly crispy.
- Return the cooked sausage to the skillet. Add soy sauce, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
