- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic in the last minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream, paprika, and thyme, stirring to combine. Return the seared chicken to the skillet to cover with the sauce.
- Let chicken simmer in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked through. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
