Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Take about a golf ball-sized portion of the meat mixture, flatten it slightly, place a small cube of mozzarella cheese in the center, then fold the beef around the cheese to form a smooth ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of oil. Add the stuffed meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet, cover, and simmer for an additional 10 minutes to melt the cheese inside and meld flavors.
