- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti works great)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the remaining olive oil, sliced bell peppers, soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the peppers are tender.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sautéed bell peppers and garlic oil. Slice the grilled steak and add it to the mixture. Toss until well combined and serve hot, garnished with parsley.
