Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside. Shred the cooked chicken if using store-bought rotisserie chicken.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, sour cream, mushroom soup, onion soup mix, onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Add crispy fried onions if desired before serving.
