- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by dicing the green peppers and chopping the onion. Mince the garlic and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Mix in diced green peppers, tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in cooked rice and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
